Happy New Year Food Frenzy fans! I hope you all have wonderful and safe New Year’s celebration. We in my household usually watch the ball drop in Times Square and eat soba (Japanese buckwheat noodles) to ring in the New Year. It never fails, my dad is in charge of uncorking the champagne while those around him take cover. LOL! Good times! For 2013, I can’t wait to try more amazing foods from all the over as well as share perhaps favorite recipes of mine on my blog. An update for my site this year is larger photos. Keep connected and thanks for following!

Wear Comfy Pants to Buffets!
I know I blog a lot about Las Vegas but I love that place. We don’t gamble much or drink but we do go there for the food, the shops and the amazing lights that come alive at night. When people talk about the food in Las Vegas, the first thing that comes to mind is the buffets. Though the buffets in Vegas are not cheap, there is a wide range of food and decadent desserts you can choose from. The reason I like buffets is because you get to choose what you want and the quantity that you want to eat. I usually tend to stuff myself and wish…

Pink’s Hot Dog Now Open in Las Vegas
Pink’s Hot Dog in Los Angeles is definitely a tourist stop. When you’re driving on Melrose Ave. and La Brea Ave. and see a long line on the sidewalk look no further. Right around the corner will be Pink’s. Pink’s has been around from 1939 in the same location. Paul Pink started this joint in a push cart when hot dogs sold for just 10 cents each. In 1946, he traded his push cart in for an actual building and the rest is history. The dogs are made in under 30 seconds so no matter how long the line is, you will get your meal pretty quickly. Though I have…

Statue of Liberty Outta Jelly Belly’s!
My dream is to one day visit New York. My trip is already planned out. First, I MUST see a show on Broadway, then have some pizza, visit a cafe and to finish off the evening, take a stroll in Central Park. Somehow, someway, I just need to get there. Another site that I would definitely want to visit is the Statue of Liberty. This is the probably the most well known tourist attraction in New York. A little history about the Statue of Liberty…Located on Liberty Island, this statue was designed by Frédéric Bartholdi, a French sculptor and was dedicated on October 28, 1886. The statue was a gift…

A Rain Forest in Las Vegas…Not Really!
Imagine a lush, green rain forest setting in the middle of the desert? Not possible, right? Oh but it is if you are in Vegas. Each year, millions of visitors from all over the planet visit Las Vegas. Many visit on vacation or some just as a quick getaway. Vegas is a home to many, many, amazing well known restaurants and of course the all you can buffets (YUM but dangerous!). Top chefs when considering opening up a restaurant decide between Los Angeles, New York and Las Vegas. Though there are many restaurants in Vegas (too much to decide from), one restaurant my husband and I visited is the Rainforest…

Serendipity 3 in Las Vegas Rocks!
Living in S. Cal, a perfect weekend getaway is Las Vegas. It’s not too far to drive but far enough that you feel as though you are taking a break from life. From S. Cal, the drive to Vegas is anywhere from 4-6 hours depending on how often you stop on the way out or traffic. Friday drives through the desert gets pretty crowded because everyone has the same idea as you. They have a desire to getaway but not too far away. When my husband and I visit Vegas, it’s all about the food. The food here is AMAZING! There are so many unique and delicious restaurants especially on…
