I never thought I would be addicted to plastic storage containers but I have recently realized that when do go shopping and I see a unique container, I want it. In the meantime, the drawer in which we keep all of our storage containers is over flowing! I just can’t help myself. Rather than purchasing containers that are inexpensive, I should probably invest in the Tupperware brand but it’s hard. A great place (though it’s not the best quality) to find cool containers is the Dollar store. And really, because it’s only a dollar, you really don’t expect it to last a long time. The newest addition to my container…

Muffin-The Cutest Dog in the Universe
I don’t do it often so I’m using this post to highlight our dog Muffin. Read our history here. We have had her now for 2 months and her behavior is exactly the way it was when we got her on day one. We were afraid that she would turn rebellious or act out but nothing! She is a keeper for sure! She loves people, loves to sunbathe outside and absolutely loves snacks. Another thing that is pretty comical is that she snores and dreams quite a bit. There are times when her paws twitch like she running and there are times when growls then barks as though playing two…

A Vlog Challenge and an iPad Mini!
This past summer, my husband who coodinates a Internet Marketers meet up group in our valley threw out a challenge to all those who are a part of the group. The challenge was to blog everyday for 30 days consecutively during the month of July, submit your blog post to him by 11:59 pm, insert a photo within your blog and that your blog had to have a minimum of 351 words. Of course the rules for this blog seems very precise but there was a reason for this challenge. Many say they want to start a blog or a internet business but actually getting started is a different story. …

New Year…New Food Finds!
Happy New Year Food Frenzy fans! I hope you all have wonderful and safe New Year’s celebration. We in my household usually watch the ball drop in Times Square and eat soba (Japanese buckwheat noodles) to ring in the New Year. It never fails, my dad is in charge of uncorking the champagne while those around him take cover. LOL! Good times! For 2013, I can’t wait to try more amazing foods from all the over as well as share perhaps favorite recipes of mine on my blog. An update for my site this year is larger photos. Keep connected and thanks for following!

Starbucks Any Day of the Week
My brother lives in San Francisco and works for an amazing company. Though it is 6 hours away, he always tries to come home for family birthday celebrations, holidays and throughout. The other weekend, he was visiting for Christmas break and he mentioned he received a $5 Starbucks giftcard from someone a while ago and it had sat in his wallet for a long time! WHAT? Who has Starbucks giftcards just sitting there, unused! Definitely not me! So when he asked if I wanted it, without hesitation, I said YES! Though I try really hard not to get my Starbucks fix too often, it is a treat when I get…

Velvet Cupcakes-Bag vs. Box
Would you like a bag for that? Usually you hear this question at the supermarket. Recently I visited Velvet Cupcakes at our mall and got asked this question. In my previous post, when I ordered a cupcake from this store, I was given a box to cradle my delicate cupcake. This time around, I was given a bag. I asked about getting my cupcake in a box because this cupcake was not for me. It was to celebrate a coworkers birthday the next day during work. How awful would that be if the frosting got damaged! I was told that if I wanted my cupcake in a box, that there…
