I love any type of “cake” dessert. Actually why stop there. I love ANY type of dessert. Desserts are probably my weakest downfall. There are days when I am in the mood for a “cake” dessert vs. days that I am in the mood for a “different” type of dessert.
On this particular day, I wanted a “cake” dessert for dessert and while strolling through my favorite grocery store in the whole wide world, Trader Joe’s, I stumbled upon Trader Joe’s Maple Walnut Blondies. The funny thing is, they actually have this dessert in the cake mix section where you can just mix ingredients together with the base of the blondie and make your own but on this particular night, I didn’t feel like baking. I just wanted to eat.
I was so happy to come across these pre-made blondies and knew I had to try them. Can I just say, these were so delicious. When I first bought these, I thought, wow, they only give you 4 when you can bake an entire batch for the same price! What a rip off but then after I had one, I figured out, 4 goes a long way. I plated 1 blondie onto a napkin (who needs a plate) and started eating it. Wow, it was so rich. I love rich desserts but this can totally last you instead of 4 servings, 8 easily! They were so moist and the walnuts inside were perfect. They also sprinkle a little bit of white sugar on top of each one for the finishing touch. And if you like maple flavored desserts, you will definitely taste the maple in this dessert. The next time you’re at your Trader Joes, pick a pack up. It will be by the pastry and bread section. Try it from Trader Joe’s!
